Game Modes

However you like to play — solo runs, 4-player co-op, ranked PvP, or rule-bending challenge modes — Endless TD has a mode for it. Here's everything you can queue into.

Ways to Play

Co-op (1–4 Players)

Team up with up to 4 players in cooperative defense. Share gold, coordinate tower placement, and chain each other's elemental effects for devastating combos against the endless waves.

Competitive PvP

Face off in 1v1 or 2v2 battles — attack opponents with your own enemy waves while defending your base. AI teammates fill in if you're short a player. Climb the ranked ladder.

Solo & Practice

Run solo at your own pace, or jump into Practice to test tower builds, learn enemy patterns, and perfect your defenses before queueing into multiplayer.

Challenge Modes

Rule-bending modifiers that reshape how a run plays. Each rewards a different kind of mastery — and several pay out differently, so the economy and difficulty shift with the mode.

Chaos Rift

Enemy resistances re-roll every wave through tiered mutation templates that scale with your progress. No two waves defend the same way — read the board and adapt your damage types on the fly.

Elemental Surge

Every 10 waves, elements rotate between immune and super-effective. Constantly re-tune your damage types to match the cycle — boss waves pause the rotation so you can burst them down.

Juggernaut

Fewer enemies, but each is far tougher, under constant elite pressure. Bosses arrive every 2 waves and can gain regeneration from wave 18 — a pure damage check. Pays out more gold to match.

Vortex

A spiral survival map where enemies converge on a central portal at increased speed and 10× spawn density. The economy tightens after wave 30 to stop gold snowballing — raw AoE clear is king.

Arenas

The Colosseum New

A square arena where enemies pour in from all sides and circle the perimeter forever — they never leak. Instead of protecting an exit, you race an occupancy meter: you only lose if 300 enemies are on the field at once. Terrain themes refresh every 30 waves, and the economy ramps down over time, so sustained AoE clear and crowd control matter more than single-target leak prevention.
